Marshall Roy and his girlfriend Amber Curry were spending the holiday like most Americans on the Fourth of July -- at a cook-out.

 

However, Roy and Curry will forever remember this Independence Day as the day their son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

 

Every team considers itself a family.

 

The West Virginia Lightning, a semi-pro football team in Charleston is no different. One of their players, Marshall Roy just found out his 5-year-old son has cancer.

 

Trey is the team's biggest fan. Then again, once the team found out about Trey's condition he quickly learned that the team was his biggest fan.
